I was born in a suburb on the outskirts of East London within the county of Essex. As an adult I moved away, but later returned to serve the community working as a London Firefighter. I never planned to become an author, however, I found writing about my experiences as a child and later about the untimely death of my wife really helped with the grieving process. I hope that my story will help and encourage others to talk about their grief and loved ones. It’s okay not to be okay!

Publication Day - 30th November 2022

So many mixed emotions today when I received a large heavy box from the courier containing copies of my book, Love Beyond Love.

This is the first time that I have held the completed printed version in my hand.

I feel proud that I, Russell Webb, has written a book and had it published. I also feel sad that my late wife was taken far too soon by that dreaded cancer. If she had survived, then you wouldn’t be reading this blog, and my book would not exist.

Sharon is sadly no longer with us; however, she lives on in my book. As do my parents and brother, who I also dedicate my book to.
