I was born in a suburb on the outskirts of East London within the county of Essex. As an adult I moved away, but later returned to serve the community working as a London Firefighter. I never planned to become an author, however, I found writing about my experiences as a child and later about the untimely death of my wife really helped with the grieving process. This quaint tearoom near Chelmsford in Essex will always be special to me. It is located close to the cemetery where Sharon is.
Sharon and I used to visit here a lot and we particularly loved the homemade quiche and delicious cakes.
Since Sharon’s passing, I would often call in for lunch after visiting her grave. Most of the time I would sit in the garden and write chapters of my book.
