I was born in a suburb on the outskirts of East London within the county of Essex. As an adult I moved away, but later returned to serve the community working as a London Firefighter. I never planned to become an author, however, I found writing about my experiences as a child and later about the untimely death of my wife really helped with the grieving process. I hope that my story will help and encourage others to talk about their grief and loved ones. It’s okay not to be okay!

Early in 2024 I had the idea of "A Showcase of Suffolk Authors Book Fair".

This happened on Saturday 29th June 2024 and was held at Darsham Village Hall. Well, What can I say? It truly was a fabulous day. Nineteen local authors got together to show their books. Many members of the public attended the event, and enjoyed talking to the authors and purchased many signed copies of the books, which were beautifully displayed.

Thank you so much to everyone involved in the planning of this wonderful book fair.

Tea, coffee and delicious homemade cakes were provided on the day by Wilby WI. (Women's Institute).
